GALT is Formed

Growing and Learning Together Uganda founded as a community-based organization in Kamuli, Uganda.

2016

Uganda Expansion

Second site opened in Buyende District, reaching more farming communities.

2018

The End of a CBO

Operations paused due to funding challenges — a hard but necessary break.

2023

A New Beginning

GALT International, LLC officially registered in Philadelphia, USA.

2025

Rebuilding in Kenya

Active partnership building begins across Kenya — stronger, wiser, and fully locally led.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower and strengthen the capacity of individuals, communities, and institutions to plan, fund, and implement agricultural and educational programs that are sustainable, inclusive, and grounded in partnership. We provide high-quality guidance and support in grant writing, cooperative and NGO development, project planning and implementation, and collaborative development programs, helping transform ideas into practical action through transparency, shared learning, and meaningful collaboration.
